For the coming of summer, Prada proposes maxi brief-case style bags or postman bags,  made of leather or fabric with two short handles, just like a professional bag. Generous in size, this bag is also perfect as a work bag, to protect your documents and business papers  thanks to its wide internal double compartment.

The classic small shoulder bag (even better if the strap is made of fine golden chains) is the top bag of next summer 2011 according to Louis Vuitton, in natural two tone leather closed by a jewel button or a golden buckle. The model is linear but rounded and can be comfortably worn on the shoulder or clasped in hand, according to the situation and the look itself.

Versace fashion house bets everything on the classic clutch in white and red, with a short leather strap that can also be used as a simple handle, making the item itself more fashionable and youthful.

Fendi designers introduce a very nice model of handbag as the IT BAG of summer 2011, naming it SILVANA, in honour of the famous Italian actress Silvana Mangano. Looking like a small casket, the SILVANA BAG is made of genuine alligator and calf leather with side inserts in pequin and it is provided with a short top handle to carry it by.

Roberto Cavalli chooses canvas as the basic material for his spring-summer 2011 handbag collection, in neutral shades such as beige or light grey, enriched by finishing and details in genuine python skin, especially for the detachable long strap and the handle. Its style combines the luxury of a high quality leather (such as python) with the convenience of the model, creating a practical large handbag, wearable with any look, but absolutely trendy and well executed in style.

Genuine python leather is also chosen by TODS for its line of destructured and soft handbags,, in natural colors such as beige and ivory and provided with double handles and coulisse.

Dolce & Gabbana, on the other hand, create a totally white handbag, made of woven raffia with inserts in macramè lace. The model, inspired by the traditions of Sicily, has a quite rigid structure and it has a short handle, while the upper section is made of transparent pvc.

Crystal Eye is the novelty proposed by Gianfranco Ferré for the coming summer season. It is a structured shoulder bag made of Tejus lizard leather with details in golden metal, plexiglass and Swarovsky crystals. Everything is further enriched by the strap in lizard leather with decorations and rhinestones.

Chanel, inspired by Art Déco, proposes a classic shoulder bag with front flap in white, black sparkling embroideries and a brass closure reproducing the logo of the French maison.

However, if you like classic accessories, you can follow Bottega Veneta’s proposal. Their designers have created a clutch made of genuine crocodile leather with decorations in woven leather. The elegance and the evergreen style of this pochette is further enriched by the classic tonalities chosen, such as black and dark brown, always symbols of undisputed elegance and refinement. The gorgeous crocodile pochette promoted by Bottega Veneta for the next summer 2011 also has a thin wrist strap to clasp it more securely, always in genuine crocodile leather; a very useful and secure way to make sure of keeping your clutch always at your side.

Valentino’s woman, next summer will be wearing a classic shaped shoulder bag made of natural leather in very elegant soft shades such as light pink.

This bag, despite its sophisticated harmony, has a well-finished external compartment (creating a crenellated effect) and decorative silver buckles all along the short strap, conferring light and brightness to the item itself.
