Lineapelle Bologna: Preview of a long awaited fair
Just a few hours ago Bologna opened its doors to the long awaited LINEAPELLE fair, scheduled this year from 18th to 20th October 2011: an event of global relevance for the new lines that are presented, and for the prestige that this fair has gained in recent years.
As our loyal customers – who’ve been visiting our blog for years now – already know, Bologna’s LINEAPELLE fair is a very important time for all those involved in the leather sector, and also for those producing clothes and furniture, given that all the very latest fashion trends concerning the leather world will be presented here, no matter whether the leather is natural or artificial, calf leather or exotic skin.
Many Italian tanneries, as usual, are taking part in the fair to show all their new creations for the fall-winter season of 2012-2013, the result of months spent in studying and testing various new types of leather, in order to create really sensational products that will represent the ultimate expression of the genuine Made in Italy style, for which our country is famous all around the world.
The event that, we remind you, is taking place in Bologna from 18th to 20th October 2011, is exclusively reserved for those working in the leather sectors, including the producers of leather items and accessories, shoe makers, furniture producers and clothing artisans working with every kind of leather – both natural and faux leather.
For this year’s event too a great influx of visitors is expected, coming not only from Italy but from many other European and international countries: the reason is that LineaPelle is considered a privileged event, not only for the exhibition and presentation of new materials and items, but also because of the number of activities and initiatives that are organized to provide a sort of professional growth to all those who take part in training courses or conventions dedicated to the operators of the leather sector. It is also an excellent showcase, indeed, for all the many emerging talents.
Of course, some members of our Gleni staff are at the event as visitors, to have a look and report all the new and interesting proposals, aiming to select those most connected to our business and to our customers’ tastes: in this way we can assure you, looking ahead to the autumn-winter season of 2012-2013, of new products that are the result of long and meticulous artisan work, showing the best aspects of fashion and trends.
